I'm trying to write a VIN into a used but freshly flashed CM845 that is replacing a bad module that has no communication. All attempts through the OBD2 port have been unsuccessful. 
You mention in the Ediag video that you often have to write through the EEPROM directly on the 03 MY. We tried using my friends KTAG to read through BDM of the bad unit but it appears to be unreadable or unsupported; they only show CM848 + in the software.

My question is, what tool should I be using to clone the EEPROM without breaking the bank? Carprog?
