Chrysler CDA 6.14 Engineering Tool Software inside VMWARE
Chrysler's CDA Engineering software. CDA requires a MicroPod 2 to use with it.
This package runs on a Virtual Machine. This allows easy of installation for it you since all you need to do is install (free) VMWare Workstation 17 for Windows/Linux, or VMWare Fusion Player for macOS.
CDA itself should be free of any licensing worries. You can use on any pc you want using vmware workstation 17. When you login software just highlight "work offline" Witech17 is also in the vmware though I didnt use it but I reckon it will work fine as well for offline.
Its a big file (30gb) so it takes awhile to download. When importing it to vmware YOU MUST use vmware ovf tool.
Please keep in mind Its up to you to figure it out, I have personally only used this software a few times and it seemed to be working well. Beyond basic installation and testing it, I have not had the time to fiddle with it much so I do not know details on how to use it. Its not for the faint of heart.
Prior to use you need to install:
VMWARE 17.
OVF tool
These are the official setup file's I personally downloaded. They are safe and are free for personal use.
If I make any yt video's or articles about using it, I will post below:
Beyond the articles and video's posted above, I WILL NOT:
- Offer any support for this software
- No explanations on how to use it
- Offer any installation help.
There are no refunds so do not purchase this if you do not know what to do with it!
I don't know anything about your pc or the issues you may run into trying to set it up.
I have a pretty basic windows 10 system and as you can see in the video, it installed with no issue's for me.
