Most Early Toyota & Lexus Models

PROGRAMMING ADDITIONAL MASTER KEY

  1. Insert a working master key in the ignition. (do not turn on)
  2. Press the gas pedal 5 times.
  3. Press the brake pedal 6 times.
  4. Remove key from ignition.
  5. Insert a new transponder key. (do not turn it on)
  6.  Press gas pedal 1 time and then wait 1 minute or until the security light stops blinking.
  7. Remove the key from the ignition and press brake pedal 1 time to exit programming.
  8. Wait 30 seconds and you will then be able to use your new master key.

PROGRAMMING AN ADDITIONAL VALET KEY

  1. Place an already programmed master key in the ignition. (Do not turn on)
  2. Press the gas pedal 4 times.
  3. Press the brake pedal 5 times.
  4. Remove key from ignition.
  5. Insert a new transponder key. (do not turn it on)
  6. Press Gas pedal just 1 and then wait 1 minute or until the security light stops blinking.
  7. Remove the key from the ignition and press brake pedal 1 time to exit programming.
  8. Wait 30 seconds and you will then be able to use your new valet key. (valet keys can not be used for future programming)

ERASING KEYS

  1. Place an already programmed master key in the ignition. (do not turn_ 
  2. Press the gas pedal 6 times.
  3. Press the brake pedal 7 times.
  4. Remove the master key from the ignition. All other keys will now be erased from system.
